Santachu P.6Strum wasted no time delivering presents to the rest of his friends. From old pals Team Legend and Purple Rust (Though Strum didn't exactly think too fondly of Violet and Keira), to some kiddies who wanted minor presents, he had almost completely emptied his bag. And just in time for the party, too! Time to go wrap that last gift, he thought, and sped back to the base without a second thought. But just halfway there, all on his lonesome, he encountered a little trouble In the form of a Sableye and a Shedinja.
He thought he was coming in distance of seeing his base, when two purple hands covered his eyes. "Guess who, Santachu." a female voice said. Strum went cold, and started throwing himself around to get free. After a couple of heaves, he regained his sight, and the surprise attacker landed on her feet with a flip through the air, closely joined by a Shedinja who closely hovered by her. Luella and Blythe, though it was Luella Strum knew was the more dangerous one. Lesson #7
Santachu P.5Strum grimaced, as he flew through the air. He must have looked strange, a Raichu in a red festive outfit and hat, complete with a red bag, and flying through the air. Buddy had really must have put some muscle in that throw, for Strum had been sent whistling through the cold air at quite a fast speed. He noticed that he was actually starting to descend, and started to look for a soft landing spot. He noticed a patch of snow that looked quite bigger than snowed spots around it. Hoping it wasn't a rock or anything, Strum angled himself to fall towards it and braced for impact. He repositioned himself to not land on his back or his head. Seconds passed, and finally, he hit the ground. Hard. He tried somersaulting, to put momentum from the flight into the roll, decreasing the pain. It still hurt, however, just not as bad. Strum's arms felt bruised from covering his face, and his left cheek took a few scratches. Thankfully, he was still alive, so he didn't complain. He brushed the snow tha
Four down, two to go, and Strum had plenty of time. It was barely high noon, and he had only two to three trips left. He just needed to make a delivery for one of the other gifts back at the base. Smooth sailing, and a smoother party to look forward to! Just to make sure, he checked his bag on the last two gifts to see if they were there. And they were, both evenly next to each other, one with a black ribbon, and one with a dark pink- Wait... Dark pink? Chills went up Strum's spine as he checked the label. Inside, he swore heavily. He had grabbed the gift for Anabel! How could he have grabbed the wrong one?!
"Just great," he said. Now he, instead of the planned route to make the shortest trips, he had to go to the delivery service to get Anabel's gift to her now, instead of getting it delivered later. Cursing at himself over and over again in his head, he sprinted as fast as he could to the delivery service, which was not far from here. As he stepped inside, he could see he wasn't the
Well on his way, with only four gifts left for this trip, Strum dashed toward his next spot. He figured he'd might as well get it over with and visit his crazy friends known as White Trash Circus, none other than Nikki Deino, Vince Rufflet, and Tommy, a Luxio, who was just like Strum, a fluffy Electric-Type. He was about three fourths the way there, when he noticed two little Pokemon not too far from his path. A red and a blue... and awkwardly familiar. Strum looked closer, and smiled. He suddenly changed directions, and started barreling toward the red one.
"INCOMING!!" he yelled, and put his speed to full throttle. The two mons noticed just in time, and jumped out of the way, just in time. Strum skidded to a halt, having some trouble, due to the snow. He turned to see two new pals of his, Piano the Plusle, and Forte the Minun, sister and brother of Team Treble n' Bass.
"Heh, didn't scare ya, did I, Forte? Sorry bout that." Strum said with a straight face and a grin. Forte looked a bi
Strum was well on his way to give gifts to his friends. He waved to others as he passed by, unfazed by any second glances or talk or giggling behind his back. Let em' judge, he thought. He didn't care.
"Now, which should I go visit first..." Strum said. He looked into the sack, and checked which boxes he got. One box stood on top of the others. Strum shrugged. Might as well take this one, he thought, as he checked the label on it's side and went in the direction it's receivers. A few minutes later, he arrived at his destination, and knocked on the door. Not too much later, a sleepy-looking Purrloin opened the door. She took one look at Strum, and then closed the door.
"Aw, come on, Mikami! Seriously?" Strum said in mock disapproval. A few seconds later, the door reopened to the Purrloin Mikami, and her partner Jacques Gastly, a ghostly top hat-wearer, fluent in the French language.
"Kinda late fer Halloween, huh, Strum?" Mikami said, rubbing her eyes. She must have been still sleeping.
